Pfaltzgraff Giveaway!
UPDATE: The winner has been selected: It is Victoria Lynn!
I was really excited when Pfaltzgraff contacted me and offered to give one of my readers a $50 gift certificate!!!
Please have a look at the Pfaltzgraff Dinnerware, they have some beautiful things and they still carry that set (Heritage) that I bought 30 years ago! I'm actually thinking about buying another set of it! There is also another really pretty white pattern called Filigree that I really like!

Update: I'm not giving away my teapot...just the $50 Pfaltzgraff gift certificate! I don't think I could part with that teapot...I love it!

I dream of having my own little cottage someday but for now I'm just happy turning my rental apartment into a warm and inviting space on a single mom's budget. Because I work full time, I don't have time to respond to all the comments you leave but I try to at least answer all my emails...that's if they don't end up in my SPAM folder by mistake!

Good morning, Cindy! I found your link on another blog I read sometimes. I bought classic white dishes before getting married in 1970. I don't have the dishes any longer but do have the husband...39 years on May 29th. I can hardly believe it has been that long. Perhaps your giveaway will lead me back to Pfaltzgraff.
Please enter me in the contest for the giveaway. I love the Pfalgraft patterns.
Thanks,
Carolea

Please enter me in your giveaway. In the early 80s I got married and my first set of dishes were the blue/white pfaltzgraff. I bought 2 place settings and my best friend's mom gave me her s&h stamps to get the rest. Oh the memories. I love your blog.

I'd love to win the $50 gift certificate.... I actually have Heritage dishes for 12 and use it when I entertain a group and would love to have a few more of the serving pieces. So add my name!
Blast from the past! This was my first "grownup" set of dishes too. I used them for years and they seemed to never go out of style. Then suddenly I got interested in color and they went to the attic and eventually to a yard sale. Now I'd love to have them back. Please enter me! thanks, Peggy from PA

My favorite is the shabby chic vines! Thanks for the giveaway offer :)
Cindy,
Just came across your blog while looking to review Pfaltzgraff dinnerware. I have had horrible experiences with the product, happy the giveaway is over. =(
I have two sets of "Evening Sun" designed dinnerware that I bought a year or so ago. Loved the design, but that is all. These dishes chip extremely easy. The chips come from the dishwasher, and if they come into contact with something while putting them away. I frequently am picking up chips from the bottom of the dishwasher.
Using them in the microwave is a lousy adventure as well. I put food in or on the dish and microwave for short bursts, stirring in between. I find that the plate, bowl or whatever, will come out of the microwave hotter than heck, yet the food would still be cold. Weird. Many burnt hands with this product.
I have older Pfaltzgraff that apparently are much better made. No chips.
Not sure if the manufacturing changed when they moved their plants or not, but I will never buy this product again.
Sorry about the unsolicited thoughts, just picked another chip from a dish out of the dishwasher, on a reviewing rampage. =)
Muy Lindo , Saludos
