I was so excited with the opportunity to do a little shopping courtesy of HomeGoods and BlogHer! As you probably know, HomeGoods is one of my favorite places to shop! I can always find something there which makes it the best place to shop for the holidays! I was given $50 to spend and it's amazing how much that can buy there! I had all intentions of doing some Christmas shopping for family and friends but then my daughter, Lauren and I both found things we really wanted instead! Lauren and I justified this selfish move by saying that most of our family and friends read my blog regularly and they would see their gifts!
We really need a new throw for the living room. They had a great selection of these and this one was only $14.99 and it's the perfect shade of blue for my home! I love the texture and it is so soft!
I have really been wanting a magnifying mirror like this since I used one of my girlfriends a few months ago. I originally wanted the kind that lights up and they had that type and at $50 it was a great deal...I know because I've been shopping around for one of these for awhile. I decided to get one that didn't light up because it was too good of a deal to pass up at $14.99! Lauren and I both LOVE this for plucking our eyebrows! The only bad thing is that you can see every pore and wrinkle!
Lauren got so excited when she saw this pink and black lap desk! She's always doing homework on her bed so this will be great for her! This was also $14.99. I guess that's a popular price at HomeGoods!
So for a grand total (with tax) of $49.13 I walked out with 3 beautiful gifts for my daughter and I! The fun we had walking around the store picking out gifts for ourselves was priceless! We had a blast! Thank you HomeGoods and BlogHer!

Several times a week I go to my gym then head across the street to Home Goods and well, I'm like a kid in a candy store. I love love love Home Goods. The staff all know me by sight, and some by name. I have so enjoyed seeing and reading about all the "great deals" Cindy and others have found at HomeGoods. I so wish there was one near me; I live outside of Memphis, TN in northern MS. The nearest one is in Franklin,TN and I got to go there last year and I LOVED it!! I was in ther soo looong that my sweet husband found a chair and went to sleep!!LOL!
