Do it yourself Chic sells beautiful appliques that can be added to so many things! I've used them a lot around my home...
Above is a little caddy box that I found at the thrift store a couple years ago. It was cute when I found it but it was really dirty and needed to be painted, but before I painted it I simply glued on this applique from Do it yourself CHIC and it added so much charm!
I also used one of their appliques on the headboard that I found free on Cragslist! What a difference that made!!!Do it yourself CHIC contacted me and they would like to give one of you a $50 gift certificate! WOW..what a way to start a monday. After looking through the site, I would say my favorite is the Shabby Cherubs with Swags..which after I selected I read is a best seller! Of course it is! So...this is so exciting. I have been a blog wall flower reading and dreaming. This weekend I scoured craigslist until I found a perfect dining set on the cheap to chic up. It is my first real project since stalking your blog. I am now on the hunt for where to get knobs and appliques. This giveaway could not be more perfect!!! Happy Monday Everyone!

I love these appliques. I've used them on projects before and even used them on my kitchen cabinets. My favorite is the Bow Swag with roses.

Wow! I looked at all of the appliques and must say I didn't see anything I didn't love. If I had to choose one category, it would have to be the roses. Love, love, love them.
I love all of them and I love that website. My favorite at the moment is probably the bows that go at the corners (the ribbons drape down). I have a cabinet I purchased on craigslist and set of those would be just the touch it needs.

I have an old dresser with black marble top that i painted a very pale yellow, then sanded it to look shabby and want to put these on the bottom drawer. the drawers are like a swag, can't really describe it correctly.Anyway love the swags.

I love the swags but they're all gorgeous!
I love these applique's. You can turn a sow's ear into a silk purse with them. My coffee table in my livingroom used to be a crate for a Model T engine, I put legs on it an applique and antique handles and it is wonderful. I love the shabby chic wreath that is the larger one with the ribbons sort of coming off to the sides. :) I have an old royal blue dresser that was the boys' when they were toddlers sitting in the garage and I keep wanting to add some kind of adornment, paint it, change the hardware and LOVE it! It is screaming for a makeover. :)
I just love those romantic vines- I have a number of lovely climbing rose bushes, and they remind me of my garden. I would just love to have some of these lovely "pretties"...

Because I'm searching for a long and narrow applique, I choose the Chic Crest - but they're all lovely! Need it for the front of an old sewing machine table which I painted and use as a bedside table. This belonged to a dear elderly artist friend who passed away a few years back - her son let me choose something from her home so I treasure it.

I liked the cherubs and swags so much I bought them without a clear intent of what I’d actually DO with them.
